The Cypress Schools

Day 3 update:

12:55pm - we're all tucking into lunch after completing our last activities.  What an amazing time we've had.  We'll be boarding the coach soon to head home, should be back about 5:45pm.

Thanks so much for all your comments which Mr Roebuck shared with us over lunch.  Looking forward to seeing our families again when we get back.  Lots of love, the Cypress pirate crews!

Why are pirates called pirates?   Because we AAAAAAAARRRRGGGGHHH!

Day 2 morning update:

Buccaneers

Gunpowder Gunners

Blackbeards

Peglegs

7:45pm - We've hit the disco hard after a long day's activities and spending our money in the PGL shop.  Lots of us have realised how brave we can be and found out that being scared doesn't stop us from achieving amazing things.  We'll sleep well tonight ready for our last activities in the morning, and we'll have lots of stories to tell when we get home.  Thanks again to all the friends and family who have sent us lovely messages, we're missing you all too but loving our experience here!

1:00pm - Getting ready for lunch after each group completed 2 more amazing activities this morning!

9:00am - We're sitting down after breakfast listening to all your messages from home.  Thanks for all the good wishes!  We are looking forward to the disco tonight.  We're all missing people at home but having a great time.

Wow, what a busy afternoon and evening that was!  Lights have just gone out in all bedrooms and we will all be sleeping well tonight I think!

After lunch, each of our 4 pirate crews managed to cram in 3 hours of activities, dinner, birthday cake and a night hike - pictures have been uploaded onto a separate page for each crew.

Day 1 Lunchtime update:

After a good coach journey (so comfortable Mr Almarza fell asleep!) we reached Portsmouth in time to catch an early ferry.  We really enjoyed watching the Isle of Wight get bigger and bigger as we approached it!

We're now at Little Canada and all smiling and excited!  We've had a tour of the site and met Ben and Laura who work for PGL and are helping us to settle in.  Now we've had lunch we're off to move into our cabins, then the fun really starts when our 4 pirate teams start tackling the activities here...

Three cheers for the Buccaneers, Blackbeards, Peglegs and Gunpowder Gunners!

We will try to take pictures of all of the children over the 3 days here so don't worry if you can't see your child yet.

Some of our Year 4 and Year 5 children set off for Little Canada in the Isle of Wight on Wednesday 5th October 2011.
